Which is better, a manicure and pedicure from a salon or store bought materials?

Going to Jr. year in high school and want some nice looking nails.

I think it's better to get them done at a salon.. but it'll get expensive after awhile. Invest in a couple good nail polish colors and do them yourself! :] Then treat yourself with getting them done at a salon.Which is better, a manicure and pedicure from a salon or store bought materials?
In my opinion:


Well I know for a fact that salons work for anybody who will pay them. They ';say'; after every customer they clean the materials, but you can never be sure if they do or how well they do it. A friend of mine went to a classy salon, very expensive, clean and she got an infection that cut her toenail so short it took WEEKS and WEEKS to grow out. Ouch, I don't think anybody deserves that.


However it is your choice.
if u get your nails done at a spa, thats the best but otherwise do them yourself at home then you can use the products you want





and besides, spas are too expensive
no competition. salon all the way
salons are WAY better cause you know they will do a good job. plus...its WAY cheaper than buying all those materials...usually! and your welcome!:)
At the salon is better. you could sit back and relax.
